MANILA, Philippines-In March, Filipino Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints member Ana Liza Torres commenced her first virtual instruction session for missionaries as virtual training commenced for missionary service.
Her first class consisted of 10 missionaries who were connecting with her via technology.
Torres, who is a returned missionary, was one of 50 instructors employed at the Filipino missionary training center and has been serving there for the past two years and three months.
As the online training commenced, she noticed the Lord’s assistance in conveying truths to her students.
The missionaries in her class were apprehensive at first but as the Holy Ghost instructed them, they began to catch the vision of their training ahead of missionary service.
