LAGOS, Nigeria-Wednesday, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints donated personal protective equipment and other basic necessities to the Lagos State Government through the Ministry of Health.
Donated items include N95 masks, disposable face masks, surgical gowns, protective eye shields, disposable hand gloves, hand sanitizers, antiseptic liquid soaps, disposable shoe covers, veronica buckets and tissue papers.
Church Area Seventy Elder Christian Chigbundu led other Church representatives to make the donations on behalf of the Church.
As the presentations were made, Elder Chigbundu thanked the Lagos State government for the measures put in place to safeguard the lives of citizens. He also expressed gratitude to various healthcare personnel for their tireless efforts.
