Wanted Man In West Jordan Double Homicide Taken Into Custody

SACRAMENTO, Calif.-A man wanted in connection with the double homicide of a West Jordan couple was taken into custody in Sacramento, Calif. Wednesday morning per authorities.

31-year-old Albert Enoch Johnson was arrested with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service as confirmed by West Jordan police.

Johnson was wanted in connection with the slayings of 31-year-old Tony Butterfield and his wife, 30-year-old Katherine Butterfield at their home last Saturday.

His wife, 29-year-old Sina Johnson, was arrested Monday on investigation of obstruction of justice and tampering with evidence.

Police say Johnson was known to the Butterfields and they believe the killings were not random. Three young children were also in the home at the time of these murders but they were not injured.
