HEBER CITY, Utah-Friday evening, the first death of a Wasatch County resident related to COVID-19 was confirmed.
Officials at the Wasatch County Health Department reported it was a male casualty who died in his 60’s at a Salt Lake City-area hospital. He died from complications from COVID-19 but had other underlying health issues as well.
He had combated the virus for nine days.
Wasatch County Health Director Randall Probst stated that the community is sad to lose one of its residents.
