HEBER CITY, Utah-Thursday, Wasatch County School District confirmed that kindergarten registration is now underway.
First, the school district requires that this registration be done online at the following Web site: https://sisweb.wasatch.edu/Students/Register/Start.
Secondly, if interested, you can also apply for the dual immersion lottery at www.wasatch.edu/dualimmersion.
Please also complete the following forms if applicable: School choice form (if student is not attending his/her boundary school. *Please note Old Mill and Midway Elementary Schools are closed to school choice) and the online dual immersion lottery application (this is due April 17).
Because of COVID-19, there will not be a district-wide kindergarten roundup as is traditionally the case.
Parents will turn in required documents at a later date as directed by their child’s school.
These required documents consist of parent/guardian driver’s license/photo ID, proof of residency (ID plus utility bill, vehicle registration, copy of most current mortgage or lease payment, etc.). Other requirements include: student’s birth certificate, certificate of eye exam by MD/OD or optometrist, student’s immunization record and custody/guardianship papers if applicable.
