The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Announces Further Changes To General Conference

SALT LAKE CITY-With The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ semi-annual general conference just weeks away, further changes have been made because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve Apostles have counseled together, they have found wisdom in further modifying the proceedings of this conference April 4 and 5.

Each session is to be broadcast from a small auditorium at Temple Square. The First Presidency will preside and conduct these sessions.

Only those who have been invited to speak or pray will attend.

The music for the conference has already been pre-recorded.

As the Brethren have made these adjustments, they feel as if they can assist those seeking to combat the coronavirus.

They close their statements by hoping for the choicest blessings of Father in Heaven to come upon the membership of the Church.
