SAN MARCOS, Calif.-Tyson Fisher homered and singled as Dixie State bested Cal State-San Marcos 5-2 Saturday in non-conference baseball action at CSUSM Baseball Field on an 83-degree Saturday afternoon.
Cade Spurlin added a sacrifice fly RBI and a home run for the 2-0 Trailblazers, who will go for the series sweep Sunday.
Jack Gonzales earned the win on the mound for Dixie State, who improved to 2-0 all-time against the Cougars with the win.
