Woman dies after struggling in northern Utah hot pool

HONEYVILLE, Utah (AP) — A woman has died after struggling in a hot pool in Utah.

Box Elder County sheriff’s officials say a group of teenagers called for medical help for the 51-year-old woman at Crystal Hot Springs outside Honeyville.

Authorities say the woman died at a hospital later Saturday.

Chief Deputy Dale Ward says what happened to the woman is unclear and there will be an investigation.

KUTV reports the woman’s identity hasn’t been released.
