SALT LAKE CITY (AP)-Utah’s higher elevations are expected to get a white Christmas Wednesday, though residents in lower valleys might only get a light dusting of snow.
The National Weather Service reports little to no snow accumulation early Wednesday in the Salt Lake Valley and north along the Wasatch front.
About 3.5 inches was recorded in parts of Salt Lake City by 7 a.m., though Salt Lake City International Airport only received rain.
KSL-TV reports a winter weather advisory has been issued through 11 p.m. Wednesday for the mountains north of Interstate 80, including Alta, Brighton and Mirror Lake Highway.
