USU Football’s Jordan Love Declares For 2020 NFL Draft

LOGAN, Utah-In information released late Tuesday, Utah State football junior quarterback Jordan Love announced he will forego his last year of collegiate eligibility. and enter the 2020 NFL Collegiate Draft April 23-25 at Paradise, Nev.

Love will receive his bachelor’s degree in exercise science later this month from Utah State and play for the Aggies in the Frisco Bowl December 20 against Kent State at Frisco, Texas.

Love has been on the NFL’s radar since his stellar 2018 sophomore season which saw him complete 64 percent of his passes (267-417) for 3,567 yards, 32 touchdowns and 6 interceptions as the Aggies went 11-2.

In 2019, things were a bit rougher for Love as offensive coordinator David Yost left the USU program to join head coach Matt Wells on his staff at Texas Tech.

Love completes 60.6 percent of his passes (263-434) for 3,085 yards, 17 touchdowns and 16 interceptions.

As  a collegiate signal-caller, the Bakersfield, Calif. native currently completes 60.7 percent of his passes for 8,283 yards, 57 touchdowns and 28 interceptions.

Love will commence his NFL Draft preparations in January.
