BYU Basketball’s TJ Haws Named As WCC Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif.-Monday, the West Coast Conference named BYU senior guard TJ Haws as its men’s basketball player of the week per a press release.

Haws led the Cougars to a 3-1 record November 25-30 and a third-place finish at the Maui Jim Invitational at Lahaina, Hawaii by averaging 16.5 points and 4.8 assists and shooting 54.8 percent from the field.

Additionally, he shot 54.2 percent behind the arc and 77.8 percent at the foul line.

Haws and his BYU teammates, which include senior forward Yoeli Childs who can return to the lineup after his 9-game suspension, are again in action Wednesday at Utah.
