Ladder Fire Strikes Near Strawberry Reservoir Sunday

RaeAnn Christensen of KUTV 2 News in Salt Lake City substantiated this report. Christensen states this fire was first reported by locals at 2:00 pm Sunday afternoon.

Reports surfaced, per the Twitter account of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, that a wildfire, known as the Ladder Fire, broke out on the Heber-Kamas Road near Strawberry Reservoir.

The blaze has reportedly burned roughly 100 acres and its cause is undetermined at this point.

There are approximately 40 firefighters from the county, local, state and the U.S. Forest Service at the scene.

No structures have been threatened as it is primarily burning in the grass and brush.
