ST. GEORGE, Utah-Zaccheus Darko-Kelly posted 23 points and 7 rebounds on 8-16 from the field as the Providence (Mont.) Argonauts downed Dixie State 80-76 Friday at Burns Arena in non-conference men’s basketball action.
Brandon Cotton added 19 points and 6 assists for the Argonauts in their upset of the NCAA Division II Trailblazers.
In defeat, Jack Pagenkopf posted 19 points and 8 rebounds while Hunter Schofield’s 18 points and 12 rebounds also paced Dixie State, as they fell to 2-1.
The Trailblazers next host Saint Martin’s Saturday at 8:00 pm at the Burns Arena.
