BRIGHAM CITY, Utah-Tuesday, the Box Elder Bees dismantled the Wasatch Wasps 3-0 in the first round of the 5-A state girls volleyball tournament.
The Bees made quick work of the Wasps, prevailing 25-10, 25-9 and 25-21 for the straight sets win. No. 12 seed Box Elder next visits No. 5 seed Park City in the second round of the state tournament at Utah Valley University Thursday at 9:00 am.
The Wasps’ season ends with a record of 8-15.
