Heber City Candidate Perry Rose

Heber City Candidate Perry Rose

Perry Rose is running for Heber City Council and talked with The Peak Station Manager, Dan Jessop about his run for one of the three available council seats.

My name is Perry Rose and I have been a resident of Heber City since 1968. As a resident and 25 year veteran of the Heber City Police Department, I have seen the changes our community has undergone. After retirement I opened and sold a successful business. I was appointed by Governor Herbert to serve on the Contract Security Licensing Board for the state of Utah.

I married my loving wife, Carolyn Rose, in October of 1981. Because my wife and I raised our family in this valley and my career in law enforcement, I have seen the needs of people who live here from two different perspectives. My family and I have fond memories of growing up in this valley. I want the children of our community to grow up in a safe and supportive environment. In addition, because of my law enforcement career and my interactions with the citizens of this community I know that we need to embrace change but preserve the values and small town feel of Heber as we know and love it. It is my promise to bring ideas that are both traditional and innovative to improve our community while maintaining our hometown values.
