Heber City Council Candidate Ryan Stack

Heber City is at a crossroads that demands vision and leadership. I am a concerned Heber resident with relevant experience and a desire to serve. I am a practicing attorney and I have served on Heber’s Planning Commission for over four years. I am running to help Heber plan for a better future:

–Plan intelligently, and with vision. We must encourage investment in our town core with focused infill and redevelopment. Create new civic spaces.

–Create builder incentives to provide home ownership at a variety of income levels, so the people who work in Heber can afford to live in Heber.

–Focus on a master transportation plan, and continue to work with UDOT and the public regarding the necessary Heber Valley Parkway.

–Improve the City’s park system, preserve green spaces, create a connected trail system.

–Work with the Open Lands Board and public to identify and secure open spaces for preservation.

Now is the time to lay the foundation for a secure and prosperous future for our city and our children. My hope is that in thirty years instead of saying “I wish we would have,” we can say “I am so glad we did!”
