SOUTHAMPTON, Pa.-Utah senior defensive end Bradlee Anae was announced as the Chuck Bednarik Award player of the week after his performance in the No. 12 Utes’ 21-3 win over Arizona State last Saturday.
The Chuck Bednarik Award is awarded annually to the best defensive player in FBS football.
Against the Sun Devils, Anae netted three sacks while he has 24 sacks overall during his collegiate career with the Utes.
He is sixth in program history in both tackles for loss (65.5) and tackles for loss yardage (198).
