PAYSON, Utah-Parker Quinton threw three touchdown passes as the Wasatch Wasps pounded Payson 42-7 Friday in Region 8 football action.
Quinton threw scoring strikes of 17 yards to Damien Skiby, 17 yards to Zak Thacker and 14 yards to Zac Webster for his hat trick of touchdown passes. He also added a 1-yard touchdown run for good measure.
Thacker added touchdown runs of 13 and 22 yards in the rout for the Wasps.
Logan Wride threw a touchdown pass to Kaiden Nielsen in the loss for the Lions.
With this win, Wasatch improves to 5-3 on the season and 3-1 in Region 8 play.
Up next is a stiff test for the Wasps as they host Salem Hills, one of the top teams in 5-A as they are 7-1 overall Thursday evening at 7:00 pm.
