Shots fired at Heber City Liquor Store. Suspects Arrests.

On September 8, 2019 Wasatch County Dispatch Center received an alarm call just after 6:30 pm at the Utah State Liquor Store, located in Heber City. Heber City Police Officers were dispatched to respond to the alarm.

Upon arriving on the scene, officers observed broken glass at this business, and set up a perimeter on the building. During this time, officers reported that shots were fired.

Several local departments responded to the report of shots fired, including Wasatch County Sheriff, Utah State Parks, Utah Highway Patrol, Summit County Sheriff, US Forest Service, Park City Police Department, and the Summit/Wasatch SWAT Team.

A perimeter was set up to contain the area, and two persons of interest were detained during this time. These persons were interviewed by investigators. At this time, one juvenile male has been booked into Juvenile Detention for several criminal charges. More charges may be filed. After interviewing the second individual, it was determined that they were not involved in this incident, and was released.

The perimeter around the crime scene has been released, and there is no further threat or danger to the public due to this incident. At this time, this incident is still under investigation.
