Pacific Coast League

SALT LAKE CITY-Aderlin Rodriguez homered twice and the El Paso Chihuahuas outlasted Salt Lake 10-8 Sunday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League baseball action. Michael Gettys had a key RBI single in the 8th Inning for the Chihuahuas as their lead ballooned to 10-2 before the Bees’ comeback fell short.

Jerry Keel earned the win on the mound for the Chihuahuas as he improved to 9-7 while El Paso now has a record of 73-52.

Jose Rojas homered twice in the loss for the Bees, while Jared Walsh also went yard for 53-72 Salt Lake.

Pioneer League

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-Brandon Lewis hit his 12th home run of the season and the Ogden Raptors bested Rocky Mountain 8-3 Sunday at UCHealth Park in Pioneer League baseball action. Zac Ching added an RBI double for 43-14 Ogden with Marco Hernandez and Andy Pages also stepping up with RBI for the Raptors. Mitchell Tyranski earned the win on the mound for Ogden, improving to 2-0 on the season. Jess Williams and Edwin Sano had RBI in defeat for the Vibes, dropping them to 25-32.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-David Clawson, Justin Kunz, Johan Sala, Morgan McCullough and Jeremiah Jackson each had RBI as the Orem Owlz overpowered the Grand Junction Rockies 8-3 Sunday at Suplizio Field in Pioneer League baseball action. Yoel De Leon earned the win on the mound for the Owlz, as he improved to 2-2 on the season while Orem now stands at 22-35. Reese Berberet homered twice and Christian Koss also went yard in the loss for the Rockies, who fell to 27-29 with the loss.
