SALT LAKE CITY-Michael Hermosillo belted three home runs and the Salt Lake Bees exploded for six runs in the 1st Inning to rout El Paso 12-5 Friday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League baseball action.
Justin Bour and Erick Salcedo also homered for the Bees in the 1st Inning while Jarrett Paker added 3 RBI for the 52-71 Bees on a solo home run, an RBI double and an RBI single.
Drew Hutchison earned the win on the mound for the Bees, improving to 1-0 on the season.
Michael Gettys homered and doubled in the loss for the Chihuahuas as they fell to 72-51 on the season.
