HEBER CITY, Utah-A report from ABC 4 Utah confirms Heber City police are growing increasingly concerned about graffiti being sprayed in the community.
The past few weeks have seen numerous instances of graffiti as authorities estimate $22,000 worth of damages have occurred to damage property in the community.
Where graffiti is sprayed, Heber City police believe there is an increased chance of crime occurring.
Authorities ask resident to combat this problem by contacting the police immediately as soon as they see the work of graffiti vandalism in their neighborhoods.
This enables authorities to identify whether the graffiti spraying is being done by taggers or gangs.
Police also ask that residents do the best they can to clean up the graffiti in their neighborhoods.
