SALT LAKE CITY-Magneuris Sierra belted an insurance 2-run homer in the top of the 7th Inning as the New Orleans Baby Cakes completed a sweep of Salt Lake with a 5-2 win Monday evening at Smith’s Ballpark.
The Baby Cakes scored the game’s last five runs after falling behind 2-0, with key RBI from Peter O’Brien, Tyler Heineman and Gabriel Guerrero.
Parker Bugg earned the win on the mound for New Orleans, as he is now 2-4 on the season while the Baby Cakes improved to 61-51.
Nick Franklin and Jo Adell had RBI in the loss for the Bees, as they fell to 49-65.
