Pacific Coast League

SALT LAKE CITY-Jose Rojas and Jared Walsh each hit their 25th home runs of the season as the Salt Lake Bees overpowered Albuquerque 8-3 Thursday in Pacific Coast League baseball action at Smith’s Ballpark. Justin Bour also homered and singld in the win for the Bees, as they improved to 45-59 on the season. Jason Alexander earned his first win of the season on the mound for the Bees, as he is now 1-2. Brian Mundell homered and Roberto Ramos added an RBI double in the loss for the Isotopes, as they fell to 45-59.

Pioneer League

OREM, Utah-Brandon Wulff hit the go-ahead RBI double in the 6th Inning as the Ogden Raptors outlasted the Orem Owlz 6-5 at Lindquist Field Thursday in Pioneer League baseball action. Jon Littell, Andrew Shaps and Marco Hernandez all added RBI for the Raptors, who improved to 31-7 on the season. Ogden has won 17 of their last 18 games. Mitchell Tyranski earned the win on the mound for the Raptors in his first decision of the season. Jeremiah Jackson hit his 14th home run of the season in defeat for the Owlz, as they fell to 13-25.
