A Weber County Jail deputy is pleading no contest to one count of sexual misconduct with a person in custody.
The Standard-Examiner reports 41-year-old Jeremy C. Miller entered the plea in a Tuesday agreement with prosecutors. They dropped four other counts of custodial sexual relations in exchange.
Prosecutors had said one woman reported having sex with Miller more than 10 times and another reported one encounter with him. Miller was in charge of supervising female inmates at the Kiesel Correctional Facility from August to November 2018.
The plea agreement states Miller could have his felony conviction reduced to a misdemeanor after completing counseling. He is set to be sentenced Sept. 3.
Miller was placed on paid administrative leave after the allegations surfaced.
His attorney did not immediately return a message seeking comment.

A correctional officer at a Utah jail has been convicted of engaging in sexual contact with inmates.
The Standard-Examiner reports 41-year-old Jeremy Clark Miller pleaded no contest Tuesday to a felony charge of custodial sexual relations.
Miller was a corporal in the corrections division of the Weber County Sheriff’s Office. He supervised female inmates at the county’s Kiesel Correctional Facility from August to November 2018.
According to court documents, two inmates told investigators that they had sex with Miller. He was arrested in January.
Prosecutors dropped four more counts in exchange for his plea. Prosecutors are not seeking a prison sentence.
The plea agreement allows for Miller’s felony conviction to be reduced to a misdemeanor if he completes counseling.
Miller is scheduled to be sentenced in September.
