SALT LAKE CITY-Justin Bour homered and Jose Rojas added a pair of RBI doubles as the Salt Lake Bees routed Las Vegas 8-1 Sunday in Pacific Coast League baseball action at Smith’s Ballpark. Nick Franklin added two more RBI for Salt Lake, while Parker Bridwell earned the win on the mound for the Bees, as they improved to 43-58. Dustin Fowler hit his 19th home run of the season in defeat for the Aviators, dropping them to 58-43.
Pioneer League
OGDEN, Utah-Ernesto Martinez’s 2-run RBI single in the 3rd Inning proved to be all the offense the Rocky Mountain Vibes needed as they broke Ogden’s 13-game winning streak with a 2-1 win Sunday at Lindquist Field in Pioneer League baseball action. Brock Begue earned the win on the mound for the Vibes, as Rocky Mountain improved to 14-20 on the season. Sam McWilliams had an RBI sacrifice fly for the Raptors, as they fell to 27-7 with the loss.
