HEBER CITY, Utah-Saturday, recent Wasatch High School graduate Maddalena Willis was crowned as the new Miss Wasatch County, succeeding the outgoing Nina Tita.
Willis is known for her talents as a dancer as this past academic year at Wasatch High School, she served as the secretary for the Wasatch High School Dance Company. She has also performed admirably on the senior company at Wasatch Dance Center. Through her membership with this group, she traveled as a competitor throughout the nation.
She was also Wasatch High School’s Sterling Scholar winner for visual arts and went on to win the Region 8 championship in this pursuit.
In her new role, she will preside over all designated activities at the upcoming Wasatch County Fair (July 26-August 3) that her responsibilities necessitate.
She will also be representing Wasatch County at this upcoming June’s Miss Utah Scholarship Pageant at Salt Lake City.
