HEBER CITY, Utah-As confirmed Wednesday, Wasatch High School star wrestler Porter Chamberlain has accepted a wrestling scholarship to compete at Western Wyoming next season.
Chamberlain has played a crucial role in the Wasps’ success on the mat in recent history. He is a 3-time state qualifier in Class 5-A, a two-time state finalist in his category, a 2018 state runner-up and a 2019 Class 5-A state champion.
Additionally, he is a 2-time Reno (Nev.) Tournament of Champions place, a champion at the 2019 Rocky Mountain Rumble and was a Wasps team captain last season.
He is also a two-time recipient of “the hardest worker” award on the squad as confirmed by his teammates.
