SPANISH FORK, Utah-Hunter Shaw tripled and Josh Crandall added a double as the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles outlasted Wasatch 6-5 in nine innings Tuesday in Region 8 baseball action. HEBER CITY, Utah-Andrea Sweat, Charley Cluff, Paige Richins and Riley Arnold each doubled and the Wasatch Wasps downed Skyridge 8-5 in Region 8 softball action Tuesday. Brightyn Turner and Marisa Bowman homered in the loss for the Falcons.

SPRINGVILLE, Utah-Abu Tullis, Edgar Garcia, Harper Brown and Wesley Carse each scored as the Wasatch Wasps dismantled Springville 4-1 Tuesday in Region 8 boys soccer action. Hunter Ricks scored in the loss for the Red Devils.
