CORVALLIS, Ore.-This weekend, Utah baseball (8-15, 1-8 in Pac-12 play) coming off an 8-6 win over hated rival BYU in non-conference play, faces the #6 Oregon State Beavers (20-6-1, 6-3 in conference play) as the Pac-12 season continues for both squads.
Presently, junior infielder Oliver Dunn ( a team-best batting average with .368, 2 home runs, 13 RBI), redshirt junior catcher Zack Moeller (3 home runs, 23 RBI) and senior outfielder Erick Migueles (3 home runs, 21 RBI) all lead the Utes.
The Utes’ leading pitcher remains senior right-hander Jacob Tedeschi (3-2).
For the Beavers, junior center/infielder Adley Rutschman leads the squad in batting average (.417). Rutschman also leads the squad in home runs (8) and RBI (31).
Oregon State has traditionally dominated the Utes, leading the all-time series 23-5-1.
