OREM, Utah-Tyson Heinz tripled and Ky Decker added two doubles as the Timpanogos Timberwolves downed Wasatch 10-8 Tuesday in the first game of a Region 8 baseball doubleheader. Heinz also earned the win on the mound for Timpanogos. Keegan Sabey homered for the Wasps while Adam Magoffin tripled and Nick Greenhawt doubled for Wasatch.
OREM, Utah-Aidan Magoffin and Parker Quinton each tripled as the Wasatch Wasps earned a split in a Region 8 baseball doubleheader Tuesday with an 8-5 win over Timpanogos Tuesday. Brock Cloward added a double for the Wasps. Zac Webster earned the win on the mound for Wasatch. Ky Decker, Paxton Richards and Tyler Thomas all doubled in the loss for the Timberwolves.
