Boys Basketball
PARK CITY, Utah-Will Harris netted 23 points and Lance Gehring added 12 more as the Wasatch Wasps improved to 3-1 on the season with a 65-55 win over Park City in non-region boys basketball action Friday. Mark McUrdy posted 22 points for the Miners in the loss. The Wasps are next in action December 4 at Farmington at 7:00 pm.
Girls Basketball
WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah-Faith Fitzgerald stepped up with 13 points as the Wasatch Wasps clobbered the Granger Lancers 62-29 in non-region girls basketball action Friday. Kaelijah Sligar had 9 points in defeat for Granger. Following the Wasps’ first win of the season, Coach Hayter’s squad returns to the Nest December 4 to host the Murray Spartans at 7:00 pm.
