5-A Tournament First Round
OREM, Utah-The Box Elder Bees swept Wasatch 3-0 Thursday in the first round of the 5-A volleyball tournament at Utah Valley University. The Bees earned wins of 25-12, 25-17 and 25-15.
5-A Tournament Consolation Round 1
OREM, Utah-The Timpview Thunderbirds dismantled Wasatch 3-1 in the consolation bracket of the 5-A volleyball tournament Thursday evening at Utah Valley University. The Wasps earned a win in the third set, 26-24, only to see the Thunderbirds take 25-23 (1st set), 25-13 (2nd set) and 25-19 (4th set) victories to prevail.
