Utah Football Hosts USC In Homecoming Game

SALT LAKE CITY-Saturday, Utah football hosts USC in the Homecoming game in the 98th Homecoming game in school history.

In Homecoming games all-time, the Utes are 59-34-4 and 13-13-1 all-time in Homecoming games against Pac-12 schools.

For this Homecoming tilt, the Utes will wear throwback jerseys against the Trojans, who lead the all-time series 11-5 with the teams having played since 1915.

The Utes’ defense remains among the best units in the nation as they are #2 in red zone defense (.556), #4 in rushing defense (87.1 yards per game). 24th in total defense (325.1 yards per game) and 11th in scoring defense (16.1 points per game).

The Utes come into this one having scored at least 40 points in consecutive games for the first time since 2015.

Utah leads the all-time series in Salt Lake City against the Trojans, 3-2 and has won the last two home games against USC.

This game, which will be a 6:00 pm kickoff, gives the Utes another advantage on the season as they are 4-1 in night games in 2018.
