Jazz Improves To 2-0 In Preseason With Win Over Raptors

SALT LAKE CITY-Joe Ingles’ 24 points on 8-15 shooting led the Utah Jazz to a 105-90 win over the Toronto Raptors Tuesday in the NBA preseason at Vivint Smart Arena.

The Jazz won this game going away, in the 2nd half, by limiting the explosive Raptors to 32 second-half points.

By virtue of a 33-18 run in the 2nd Quarter, Toronto took a 58-49 lead into the locker room only to see the Jazz turn the tables in the 3rd Quarter, outscoring the Raptors 34-20 in the stanza.

Jonas Valanciunas netted 18 points and 9 rebounds in defeat for Toronto with newcomer Kawhi Leonard adding 17 points on 6 of 12 shooting for the Raptors.

The Jazz’s preseason ensues Sunday at Portland, Ore. againt the Trail Blazers at 7:00 p.m. MDT.
