Former Utah Star Nate Orchard Signed By Buffalo Bills Monday

BUFFALO, N.Y.-Monday, the Buffalo Bills signed defensive end Nate Orchard a former University of Utah standout from 2011-2015.

The Bills found room for Orchard after releasing defensive end Adolphus Washington who had made 10 starts for the Bills since they traded defensive tackle Marcell Dareus to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

This decision by the Buffalo brain trust leaves defensive end Shaq Lawson as the only leftover from Buffalo’s 2016 draft class.

Orchard, a former Highland High standout, was selected in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns and amassed 65 tackles, five sacks, two forced fumbles, four pass deflections and one interception.

This will be a one-year deal for Orchard, per a report from profootballrumors.com.
