MIDWAY, Utah-The High Valley Arts outdoor theater of Midway has announced the roles for this autumn’s presentation of Lionel Bart’s “Oliver!” which will run from November 10-23.
This is based on Charles Dickens’ classic tale “Oliver Twist.”
The cast consists of Jacob McCrory as Fagin, Joni Olsen as Nancy, McKay King as Bill Sykes, Steve Stoddard as Mr. Bumble, Kristie Engar as the Widow Corney, Quinn Bennion as the Chairman, Mr. Sowerberry, Juliana Smith as his wife, Mrs. Sowerberry, Jan Renard as Mrs. Bedwin, Brett Lee as Dr. Grimwig, Aspen Warden as Charlotte Sowerberry, April Owens as Old Sally, Charlie Engar as Mr. Brownlow and Dawn Ulvi as the matron.
Additionally, Cache Cook stars as the protagonist of the production, Oliver Twist, with Luke Belnap starring as Dodger.
Various orphans in Fagin’s gang will be played by Lance Bennion, Audrey Bennion, Grayson Fritze, Ellie Groesbeck, Stefan Iordachescu, Eliza Lee, Elias Murdock, Cole Nord, Brayden Phillips, Alex Scott, Garrett Scott, Blake Ziesler, Alex Black, Ethan Scott and Raylee Cook.
Additionally, the ensemble cast will consist of Brinley Lunt, Ella Ballstaedt, Hailey Owens, Maile Nielsen, Hannah Lee, Steve Stoddard, Kristie Engar, Quinn Bennion, Juliana Smith, Jan Renard, Brett Lee, Aspen Warden and Charlie Engar.
The first rehearsal is slated for Thursday August 23 at 6:00 p.m. at the Midway Community Center.
At this time, all actors will be given a schedule and script and will be measured for costumes.
