COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-Monday, Dixie State football will participate in the 2018 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conferece kickoff, the Division II league’s media day, from Colorado Springs, Colo.
The Trailblazers will be represented at this event by head coach Shay McClure, senior offensive lineman Tevia Tolutau and junior safety Mike Jones.
All 11 football-playing schools in the RMAC will be represented by head coaches and select student-athletes with 10 minute press conferences.
The event will run from 8:00 am-12:00 pm MDT, with Dixie State slated to speak to the media at 9:15 am.
Tolutau, a product out of Provo’s Timpview High School, started all 11 games last season for the Trailblazers.
Jones, a San Diego native, earned RMAC honorable mention honors in 2017, posting 84 tackles and five pass breakups. Additionally, he forced four fumbles and posted 2 tackles for a loss, including 1.5 sacks, on the season.
