Former State Representative Gets Court Date

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Former Utah state Representative Trevor Lee is being ordered to appear in court on October 28th. He’s facing four felonies, including mortgage fraud. His official summons says he must appear that morning to be booked, then he’ll be released for his court date. The 35-year-old Republican resigned from the House shortly after the charges were filed. He had previously represented part of Davis County since 2023. He’s accused of asking a CEO to artificially inflate his income so he could get a home loan. Prosecutors say Lee promised to get that CEO government contracts for Hill Air Force Base.
