SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Omar Martinez and Denzer Guzman each homered and the Salt Lake Bees bested Albuquerque 7-4 Tuesday in Pacific Coast League play at The Ballpark at America First Square. Brett Kerry netted seven strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.

Andrew Knizner homered in the loss for the Isotopes.

Following Tuesday’s results, the Bees improved to 29-28 while the Isotopes fell to 32-26. The squads return to action Wednesday at 6:35 pm for the second game in the series at The Ballpark at America First Square.

Pioneer League

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho-Colson Lawrence and Giuseppe Ferraro-Nahr each homered and the Ogden Raptors overpowered Idaho Falls 22-16 in Pioneer League play Tuesday at Melaleuca Field. Dylan Gardner netted two strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Ogden. Ty Dooley and Justin Trimble homered in the loss for the Chukars. Following Tuesday’s results, the Raptors improved to 5-8 while the Chukars fell to 1-11. The squads return to action Wednesday at 7:05 pm at Melaleuca Field for the second game in the series.
