ROUND ROCK, Texas-Blaine Crim and Cody Freeman homered and the Round Rock Express downed Salt Lake 7-4 Saturday at Dell Diamond in Pacific Coast League play. Trey Supak netted five strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Express. Austin Wynns homered in the loss for the Bees. Following Saturday’s results, the Express, who secured at least a series split, improved to 23-33 and the Bees fell to 27-28. The Express goes for the series win Sunday while Salt Lake seeks a series split. Opening pitch is slated for 12:05 pm at Dell Diamond.

Pioneer League

OGDEN, Utah-Michael Koszewski, Nich Klemp, Enzo Apodaca and Jeremy Piatkiewicz drove in two runs apiece and the Missoula PaddleHeads smoked Ogden 11-6 at Lindquist Field Saturday in Pioneer League play. Brendan Beard netted three strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Missoula. Hank Dodson homered in the loss for the Raptors. Following Saturday’s results, the PaddleHeads improved to 7-4 and secured the series win. Ogden slumped to 3-8. The squads meet again Sunday for the last game in the series at Lindquist Field. Opening pitch is slated for 1:00 pm
