Pacific Coast League

ROUND ROCK, Texas-Omar Martinez and Nelson Rada each homered and the Salt Lake Bees bested the Round Rock Express 7-5 Friday at Dell Diamond in Pacific Coast League play. Kaleb Ort posted two strikeouts in 1.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. John Taylor drove in two runs in the loss for the Express. Following Friday’s results, the Bees improved to 27-27 and evened this series 2-2. Meanwhile, the Express fell to 22-33. The squads return to play Saturday at 5:05 pm at Dell Diamond for the fifth game of the series. Both teams seek a series split at the least.

Pioneer League

OGDEN, Utah-Nich Klemp and Enzo Apodaca each homered and the Missoula PaddleHeads pummeled Ogden 16-5 at Lindquist Field Friday in Pioneer League play. Thomas Reisinger netted five strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the PaddleHeads. Chase Valentine and Cole Jordan homered in the loss for the Raptors. Following Friday’s results, Missoula improved to 6-4 and Ogden slumped to 3-7. The PaddleHeads go for the series win Saturday at Lindquist Field. Opening pitch is slated for 6:35 pm.
