SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Austin Wynns homered and the Salt Lake Bees outlasted the Tacoma Rainiers 12-8 Sunday to improve to 5-1 this week against the Rainiers Sunday at The Ballpark at America First Square.

Huascar Ynoa posted a strikeout in one inning of work to secure the win on the mound for Salt Lake.

Jakson Reetz homered in the loss for the Rainiers.

Following Sunday’s results, the Bees improved to 25-25 and have won nine of their last 12 games. Tacoma slumped to 23-28.

The Bees seek to continue their momentum Tuesday at Round Rock for a six-game series. Opening pitch is slated for 5:45 pm.
