5A State Championship Bracket @ BYU

PROVO, Utah-Kailee Hall homered and the No. 2 Box Elder Bees upset No. 1 Salem Hills Friday at Gail Miller Field on the campus of Brigham Young University to force a de facto 5A state softball championship game against the Skyhawks. Kennadie Blackmer netted 10 strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for Box Elder. Emmery Wilson drove in a run in defeat for the Skyhawks. The 5A state softball championship game will occur at 4:30 pm Friday at Gail Miller Field.

Boys Soccer

5A State Championship @ Zions Bank Stadium

HERRIMAN, Utah-Cameron Martin scored the sole goal of the match and the No. 5 Bountiful Redhawks blanked No. 6 Maple Mountain 1-0 in double overtime Friday to win the 5A state boys soccer championship. The Redhawks have won 10 state championships in boys soccer. Bountiful has state championships in boys soccer in 1991, 1993, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2007, 2018, 2023 and 2026.
