(Heber City, UT) — Health officials are confirming additional measles cases in Heber City linked to two local schools. Officials say exposures likely occurred at Timpanogos Middle School on May 14th and 15th and at Old Mill Elementary School on May 15th. Measles is highly contagious and health officials warn the virus can remain in the air for up to two hours after an infected person leaves an area. Residents are being urged to make sure children are up to date on measles vaccinations.
