OREM, Utah-Matai Johnson drove in three runs and the No. 1 Spanish Fork Dons outlasted No. 21 Skyline 7-5 Wednesday at UCCU Ballpark. Rhett Walburger’s six strikeouts in five innings of work earned the win on the mound for the Dons. Hayes Marshall drove in two runs in the loss for the Eagles.
Bracket 2
OREM, Utah-Lincoln Beenfield and Brooks Pratt drove in two runs apiece and the No. 2 Maple Mountain Golden Eagles forced a third game against No. 3 Pleasant Grove with a 10-8 win over the Vikings Wednesday at UCCU Ballpark. Tavake Wolfgramm and Davey Staffieri drove in a pair of runs each in the loss for Pleasant Grove. The third and deciding game in this series is Thursday at 4:00 pm at UCCU Ballpark.
One-Loss Bracket
OREM, Utah-Mitch Walker homered and the No. 2 Maple Mountain Golden Eagles waxed No. 7 Fremont 12-1 in the one-loss bracket Wednesday at UCCU Ballpark. Ashur Clark drove in a run in defeat for the Silverwolves.

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah-Emmery Wilson homered and the No. 1 Salem Hills Skyhawks outlasted No. 4 West Field 1-0 Wednesday at The Valley Complex of Taylorsville. Jocile Norman posted five strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Skyhawks. Salem Hills next advances to the 5A state championship bracket Thursay at 4:00 pm at Gail Miller Park on the campus of Brigham Young University against No. 2 Box Elder.
One-Loss Bracket
TAYLORSVILLE, Utah-Ellie Koford homered and the No. 4 West Field Longhorns surged past No. 8 Springville 8-5 Wedneday in the one-loss bracket at The Valley Complex of Taylorsville. Brinklee Hadley netted a strikeout in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for West Field. Morgan Fairbourne homered in the loss for the Red Devils. Springville next faces No. 1 Salem Hills Wednesday at 12:30 pm in bracket play.

Blackmer recorded 10 strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Bees. Lia Higginson homered in the loss for the Dons.
