Matai Johnson netted seven strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Dons. Spanish Fork next plays No. 4 West Ridge Tuesday at 7:00 pm. The Lions will meet No. 21 Skyline Tuesday at 1:00 pm in the one-loss bracket.

OREM, Utah-Wyatt Penrod homered and the No. 4 West Field Longhorns routed No. 21 Skyline 14-4 Monday in 5A bracket play at UCCU Ballpark. Bryce Bagby netted four strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Longhorns. Andrew Johnson drove in two runs in the loss for the Eagles.

Kavyn Carter netted six strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Golden Eagles. Tuesday, Maple Mountain plays No. 3 Pleasant Grove Tuesday at 4:30 pm. Meanwhile, the Silverwolves next face No. 6 West Jordan Tuesday at 11:00 am on the one-loss bracket.
