SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Marcos Castañon and Victor Duarte homered and the El Paso Chihuahuas ended the series against Salt Lake on a high note with a 12-7 win over the Bees Sunday at The Ballpark at America First Square.

Sean Boyle pitched one inning to earn the win on the mound for El Paso.

Nick Madrigal homered in the loss for the Bees.

Following Sunday’s results, the Chihuahuas improved to 21-24 on the season while the Bees fell to 20-24.

The Bees return to action Tuesday by hosting the Tacoma Rainiers for a 6-game series at The Ballpark at America First Square. Opening pitch is slated for 6:35 pm.
