HEBER CITY, Utah-Brigzen Houser and Ty Marvin homered and the Payson Lions bested Wasatch 9-5 Thursday in Region 7 baseball play. Bosten Roseman recorded 10 strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Lions. Austin Brown homered twice and Royal Matthews also went yard in the loss for the Wasps.

Region 7

HEBER CITY, Utah-Peyton Sunland drove in three runs and the Wasatch Wasps smacked Pleasant Grove 13-7 in Region 7 softball play Thursday. Khloe Bell netted six strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Wasps. Mia Hernandez homered in the loss for the Vikings.
