SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Grant McCray belted a grand slam and Bryce Eldridge and Victor Bericoto also homered as the Sacramento River Cats smoked Salt Lake 17-7 Wednesday at The Ballpark at America First Square.

Carson Seymour posted five strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.

Donovan Walton and Niko Kavadas homered in the loss for Salt Lake.

Following Wednesday’s results, the River Cats improved to 16-11 and the Bees fell to 11-18.

The River Cats can secure at least a series split with a win on Thursday while the Bees seek to reverse their 5-game losing streak.

Opening pitch is slated for 6:35 pm at The Ballpark at America First Square.
